Happy Mother’s Day!

Her children rise up and call her blessed!  Proverbs 31:28

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s of the world!

Mother’s Day will always be a special day in our world. It was two days after Mother’s Day last year that we found out that we were going to be parents.  And this year we can’t imagine our lil punkin not being with us.  She is such a joy.

I pray that today whether you are a mother, a mother-to-be or a woman who invests in others, that you feel honored and blessed.  This day is a day that we focus on our birth mothers or the mothers who raised us.  But I believe there are so many other women than just these two categories who deserve to be honored today.

As I grew up there were numerous women who invested in me spiritually, emotionally, athletically, academically, etc.  These women loved me unconditionally, which probably wasn’t too easy during my teen years. {smile}  These women chose to use their resources to better me as a person.

Today, as we celebrate Mother’s Day I want to celebrate my own wonderful mom, my loving mother-in-law and all the women who have invested in my life.  Some of these women have children of their own and some do not.  Either way they have a special place in my heart, and I pray they are blessed.

I pray you do the same!  Happy Mother’s Day!  Thank you to all the women who have invested in me and loved me like your own.  I appreciate all you have done in my life.  I pray I can return the love by investing in the next generation of women to rise up in our country and around the world.

God bless you!
