Encouragement & Hope New Year Purpose

Welcome to my new blog!

The end of January is here, and I am ready for the newness of Spring!  I love when green grass begins to overtake the brown grass in my lawn.  I love to watch the trees and flowers bloom!  I love that the sun stays out later and later and that the birds have returned and are singing their love songs once again!  I understand that winter is necessary and that  life cannot happen without death.  I know that a seed must die before it can give life and bud into a beautiful flower, but I must confess I am always excited when I get to see the signs of life beginning to show themselves again.

And now, as I begin my blog, I begin with the excitement of new life.  Speaking in Faith is a blog where you can find encouragement from the Word of God.  As I study and learn, this will be a place where you can drop by for a few minutes and grab a “spiritual” snack.  I pray that this blog will encourage you with the truths found in God’s Word so that you will have the strength to walk thru the days of winter, skip thru the days of spring, dance thru days of summer and reflect thru the days of fall.

I've been a follower of Jesus for over 30 years, and have been teaching God's Word to students and women for nearly 20 years! God has brought me through some difficult chapters in my own life, and now my passion is equipping women like you with tools to embrace your own unexpected chapters in life with grace and truth.

    Hi Faith,

I enjoyed reading your blog. You do a good job of writing. It conveys the truth of God’s word in a simple unassuming fashion. Because of that, it makes me feel a safety in your writing. It’s just like I’m sitting with you and having a conversation face-to-face.

How is this passage applying to your current love life?

Hey, Chuck! Welcome back to Nashville…hope you are caught up on sleep 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog, and for the nice comments. God is definitely reminding me daily that He has everything under control, and everything happens according to His purpose. He is a good God, and He is worth trusting with my life, yes…even with my love life 🙂
